NSPCF DONATES A BRAND NEW 500kVA DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER AND 800AMPS FEEDER PILLAR TO ZUMBA COMMUNITY

On Wednesday, April 6, 2022, North South Power Foundation donated a 500kVA distribution transformer and an 800 amps feeder pillar to Zumba Community in Shiroro LGA of Niger State. NSP CSR Unit led by the Manager (Public Affairs / CSR). – S. O. Esumeh, accompanied by the NSP Electrical Maintenance Department headed by Engr. J. C. Ajah – PM (Electrical) presented the transformer and feeder pillar on behalf of NSPF to the Traditional Head of Zumba (Sarkin Zumba)

Mallam Umaru Musa on behalf of the Community. Consequently, the transformer and feeder pillar were in turn handed over to the Zumba Community Electrical Maintenance Committee consisting of Idris A. Tanko, Shehu Jimoh and Sabo Bida for installation and to ensure sustainability and uninterrupted power supply in Zumba Community.

In appreciation of the Foundation’s goodwill, the Traditional Head of Zumba (Sarkin Zumba) – Mallam Umaru Musa on behalf of the Community thanked the Management of NSPF for this kind gesture and for redeeming the people of the community from perpetual darkness and hardship occasioned by the power outage.

The transformer has since been installed and powered by a joint team of NSPCL and Zumba Community Electrical Maintenance team and successfully commissioned by NSP Management.
